High School

High School in Maputo poses many challenges for families. The options are limited.

JCM Learning Hub has grown out of a need for us to meet the needs of our children as they leave JCM Primary School.

Our Hybrid learning hub enables parents to choose an online or distance learning platform that they feel best meets the needs of their child and their family circumstances. Whilst students work through their academic program on line we provide the educators and learning coaches to assist the children in a presential manner. We also ensure that the social, emotional and physical activity needs of the child met. All students are required to participate in minimum expectations for physical activity, they also participate in Portuguese, and art lessons. Science experiments and other practical learning experiences are also completed with the support of the educators.

 

We also arrange sporting activities,  extra curricular activities and community connections programs to keep our children connected and physically active. 

 

We also provide opportunities for other creative pursuits with regular participation in school productions and performances. Encouraging the participation in debating and other academic competitions across schools and countries.
